Contrary to what some conservative politicians and pundits argue, there must be an aggressive and effective environmental policy that protects our natural landscapes. Protecting our natural landscapes protects civilization and our health. Because of lacking environmental controls or policy, imagine what might be happening to our bodies and unborn children because governments politicize environmental policy to benefit political agenda and promote rampant and ignorant consumption that maximizes profit sans sustainability.
