OIL: Who has the most and least oil and who uses the most and least oil

Looking at these cartograms, the following buzz phrases come to my mind that illustrate the positive consequences if there is a significant reduction or discontinuation of the extraction of energy from coal and oil via mining, domestic drilling or importing by switching to alternative or renewable energy sources.   3. Climate change and global warming mitigation
  4. Energy security
  5. Mercury pollution
  6. New jobs as the result of constructing the renewable energy infrastructure across America
  7. Price of gas
  8. Save money and nonrenewable resources
  9. Stop depending on hostile countries that supply our energy and fuel
  10. Sustainability

Undoubtedly there are many more factors why alternative and renewable energy are vastly superior to nonrenewable or fossil fuel sources. These data put into several cartograms below, further illustrate the need for energy independence.
