happy birthday cr

The Conservation Report is two years old today! On 28th September 2006, The Conservation Report was born into the blogsphere via the Blogger platform, and I’ve learned a lot about blogging since the Report’s birth. I originally developed The Conservation Report, because blogging allows me to keep a daily diary of news regarding the environment, politics, and world events.

While Blogger was a great platform, I took a risk and switched to WordPress.com. The switch wasn’t difficult, and I believe the WordPress.com platform is better than Blogger. Although there is somewhat more liberty on Blogger for some things, WordPress.com provides more exposure and a cleaner more professional feeling platform. Furthermore, daily hits to the Report have increased five fold and continue to increase under WordPress.

I enjoy blogging and knowing I have readers that come back daily. As a result, I appreciate your support! To learn more about The Conservation Report and me go here.
