RECOMMENDED CAUSE: Olive ridley sea turtles losing nesting beaches to development


One of the greatest threats to sea turtles besides pollution and incidental takes in fishing gear is degradation of nesting habitat or nesting beaches. The WILD Foundation is working to raise awareness regarding “the importance of the Olive Ridley nesting grounds along the Orissa Coast and the need to safeguard this world treasure.” As of 2009, Olive ridley sea turtles (Lepidochelys olivacea) are listed as vulnerable by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

  1. i hate all the poachers out there they need to learn how to be a better person i mean how would you feel if your children were taken eaten or even your self
