CAN YOU SEE ME? | ANIMAL CAMOUFLAGE

Ghost pipefishes are some of the most cryptic species found in nature. Ghost pipefishes are some extraordinarily cryptic fish related to the pipefishes, sea horses, and sea dragons, which are also known as syngnathids. However, ghost pipefishes differ from syngnathids, since syngnathids “carry the fertilized eggs, [but] female ghost pipefishes hold the eggs in a brood pouch formed by the fusion of her pelvic fins.”
