Yesterday, I was in the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking the Boone Fork Trail near Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina, when I saw this deer camouflaged amongst some rhododendron. Can you find it? Each picture reveals more of the deer.

my class is learning about camoflage and we could not find the animal in this pic so i want to know what is the animal?
The deer is in the lower middle of the photograph. The last paragraph offers the best change to find it. Let me know if you still can’t find it, and I will upload a photo that flags the deer camouflaged in the foliage.
